My interests lie in the realm of web development (with a hint of web and visual design), where I'm trying to break into front-end Javascript development, mainly centered around AngularJS. I find web development an interesting field, along with learning new technologies and finding how to put them to use.

Neubus

Jr. Web Applications Developer

As an intern at Neubus, I helped work on Ruby-based scripts that helped convert, add additional information to and clean up data sets. These were eventually integrated into a Rails-backed internal site.

When I started as a junior web applications developer for them, I transitioned into the front-end, developing UI widgets for internal websites using HTML, CSS and JavaScript (and a tiny bit of PHP). I also helped develop websites for Neubus public products, working from templates that were given to me. From there, I transitioned into design, where I designed & converted UI elements for their mobile products (both iOS & Android), as well as web and mobile layouts for internal applications.

The SnapToken Check-In system was a small project I did to teach myself AngularJS. It is a semi-persistent (the data will remain until you refresh the page) check-in/check-out system.
